Responsible Gaming at Betwinner

Responsible Gambling at Betwinner Australia

At Betwinner Australia, we are committed to promoting responsible gambling practices. We're all about providing a safe and enjoyable gaming experience. However, we recognise that gambling can pose risks and challenges for some individuals. We have dedicated resources and tools to support our players, ensuring gambling remains an exciting yet controlled activity.

Our Commitment to Responsible Gambling

We encourage our players to view gambling as a form of entertainment. When approached with care, gambling is a thrilling recreational activity, but it's essential to be aware of the potential pitfalls. Betwinner is steadfast in supporting our community with tools and guidelines to manage their gambling activity effectively. If gambling ceases to be fun, it’s important to step back and re-evaluate the situation.

We understand that responsible gambling is a shared responsibility. We are committed to providing clear information and resources that can help you make informed decisions about your gaming habits. This involves not only offering practical tools but also partnering with professional organisations to bolster the support available to you.

Creating an environment where our players feel comfortable and supported is central to our ethos. By taking proactive measures to promote healthier gambling attitudes, we aim to preserve the enjoyment and thrill that comes with our offerings.

Safer-Gambling Tools

Deposit Limits

To help you manage your spending, we offer deposit limits that can be set on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis. These limits allow you to control the amount of money you deposit into your account within a specific time frame. It’s an effective way to ensure your spending aligns with your financial plans, safeguarding your resources as you enjoy our games.

Setting a deposit limit is quick and easy. Simply head to your account settings, select the deposit limits option, and choose the amount that fits your budget. Remember, these limits can be adjusted at any time, putting you squarely in control of your gambling expenditure.

Loss Limits

Loss limits are another practical tool we provide, enabling you to cap the amount you can lose over a set period. By predetermining your maximum loss, you can play with the assurance that you won’t exceed your financial comfort zone.

Having a loss limit can effectively prevent any regrettable decisions made in the heat of the moment. By using this feature, you ensure your playing remains within amounts you have pre-approved for yourself, maintaining fun without stress.

Session Time Limits

Keeping track of how much time you spend gambling is crucial. Our session time limits help you set a maximum duration for your gaming activities, so you don't lose track of time. By taking regular breaks and monitoring your gaming sessions, you maintain control over your gambling habits.

You can easily set these limits within your account settings. This proactive approach helps prevent fatigue and keeps your gaming an enjoyable and refreshing part of your leisure time.

Reality Checks

Reality checks serve as friendly reminders of the time you have spent on our platform. These alerts pop up at intervals chosen by you, providing time reminders so you can decide whether to continue or take a break. It is a simple yet effective way to stay grounded and prevent excessive gambling.

Opt for a reality check schedule that suits your gameplay style, and the system will ensure you receive timely reminders to maintain mindfulness while playing. This helps in maintaining a balanced approach to gaming.

Self-Exclusion

If you feel that gambling is negatively impacting your life, self-exclusion might be the right option. You can choose to exclude yourself from accessing your Betwinner account for a minimum duration that suits you. This gives you the chance to take a necessary break, stepping away from gambling activities during a critical time.

To activate self-exclusion, navigate to your account settings and select the self-exclusion option. This decision ensures you have control over your well-being and gaming balance.

Recognising Problem-Gambling Signs

Gambling in moderation is part of our responsible gambling ethos, but recognising when it crosses a line can be challenging. Keep an eye out for the following signs which might suggest a gambling problem:

• Betting more money than you can afford to lose.
• Chasing losses, thinking the next game will be a big win.
• Spending more time on gambling than on other activities or neglecting responsibilities.
• Experiencing feelings of guilt or remorse after gambling.
• Lying to family and friends about gambling activities.
• Using gambling as a way to cope with stress or escape reality.
• Borrowing money or selling possessions to fund gambling.

If you notice any of these signs, or if someone close has expressed concern about your gambling behaviour, it’s vital to consider seeking help. Recognising these behaviours early can guide you towards positive changes, ensuring gambling remains a pastime rather than a problem.

Strictly 18+ Play

Betwinner is strictly for players aged 18 and over. We encourage parents to ensure responsible internet use and to monitor access to gambling platforms in homes with minors. If you’re concerned about underage gambling, it’s essential to use internet filters and parental control tools to block access to gambling sites.

Explaining the risks associated with underage gambling and maintaining open communication about the responsible use of gaming platforms can prevent misuse. As guardians, setting clear internet boundaries helps protect minors from exposure.
