To add sites to Galleried in one click, just drag this button into your bookmarks bar:

Browsing Options & Shortcuts

On the iPhone/iPad:

  • iPhone only: double click the screen to switch between 2up (default on iPhone 3gs) and 4up (default on iPhone 4).
  • In the detail view (after you've clicked a tile) just tap the preview image to open the actual website.
  • In the detail view, you can swipe left or right to scroll through designs without having to exit back to the tiled view.

On the Mac:

  • arrow keys: navigate through the tiles
  • space bar: opens the detail view
  • "O": opens sites in a browser
  • "F": favorites sites

How Do I Add My Own Sites?

In version 1.1 we've added this feature. There are a few easy ways to do this:

  1. Get the bookmarklet above.
  2. File > Add New > Enter the URL (shortcut: ctrl + N).
  3. Click the plus sign at the bottom left corner of the tile window.

Can I Add My Own Gallery Feeds?

Currently, no. As we take screenshots of every site featured to ensure the high-res previews, we cannot currently support each person adding custom feeds.

That said, we are brainstorming how to best accomplish this and have plans to add this functionality in a future release.*

How Do I Sync Between My iPhone, iPad and Mac?

Galleried uses Dropbox to sync your favorites. If you haven't heard of Dropbox, it's awesome and easy. Get a free account here. You'll then need to download the free iOS app from the App Store here.

Once you have that set up, just visit the preference panes of all applicable versions of Galleried and follow the directions to sync. Then magic — your favorites will automatically sync.
